I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city center. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the delicious breakfast that was included in the price. The attention to detail in the rooms, like the beautifully set out breakfast and the high quality coffee machine, really impressed me.
All was great, no complaints whatsoever.

We travel frequently in this part of the Europe and typically stay in small hotels. We nearly didn't stay here because we like see a good breakfast review and this hotel did not have such a review. However, we did stay and we did have a good breakfast with excellent service and good choice. Of course the choice could be wider but fruits, eggs, cold meat, cheese, breads, jams etc. we had no complaints. So either things have improved or the other guest was more demanding. A very authentic Swiss hotel with excellent food, excellent staff and a great location, we will return.

We had a wonderful stay in this city. The hotel's best aspects were its central location, cleanliness, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. The hotel was located right in the city center, letting us easily walk to all the main attractions. The hotel was super tidy, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were very cute and kind, with excellent hospitality. The breakfast served in the wood-panelled original dining hall was delicious with many options to choose from.
Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

Beautiful traditional Swiss hotel, right in the centre of the old town. Well modernised facilities without disturbing the character of the building. Right by the square with markets, fountains and cafes. Clock tower and bells are close and charming, but might disturb some. Food is excellent and the staff were very helpful and charming, spoke very good english and were happy to tolerate our feeble attempts at German.
Parking is inconvenient and expensive as cars are not allowed in the old town

This hotel offers great value for money with its central location in the heart of the city. The staff are attentive and the service is excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the attention to detail in providing basic amenities is commendable. The breakfast, with its delicious sourdough bread, is a definite highlight.
All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory, nothing to improve.

All the staff were extremely pleasant and courteous, and made a special effort to make me a sandwich when I arrived late at night after the restaurant was closed and the staff had gone home. The hotel was clean, comfortable and very Swiss, the food was also excellent.
Not having en suite facilities could have been difficult, but sharing with only 2 other rooms became not a problem.

Small hotel, very nice personnel. Restaurant downstairs that offers good food. Nice location in the middle of the old town of Solothurn. The hotel is an old historic building but newly renovated inside.
No air conditioning in the room.

The location of the hotel is perfect as its in the center of the old town. Our room was beautifully appointed, spacious and sparkling clean. The bed was firm yet very comfortable making it difficult to rise in time for breakfast.
The front desk doesn't seem to be manned during the day. The staff would run between the bar/restaurant to the front desk to answer any questions.

This hotel is located in the heart of the city, close to everything you'd want to see and do. It's situated in the old part of town, so you can expect to find many charming streets and buildings nearby. the rooms are spacious and luxurious, with lots of natural light and comfortable beds. the staff is friendly and attentive, and the breakfast is delicious and filling.
Some guests might find the noise level to be a bit too high, but this can be remedied by requesting a quieter room.

This is a delightful little hotel in this delightfully beaitiful town on the gorgeous river Aare. We traveled through Swizterland for about two weeks and this hotel was by far the best value for money, costing less than a £100, with free Internet, welcome drinks and lavish breakfast included in the price. Shared toilet and shower were not a problem at all. Extremely clean, very friendly staff, great experience in the overall.

The breakfast was delicious and authentic. I enjoyed the variety of fresh produce available each morning. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring the town, with key attractions within walking distance. The room I was upgraded to was very comfortable and clean.
Some noise disturbance in certain rooms during the night and early morning can impact a good night's sleep. I was disappointed that there was no kettle or tea provided in the room, even though it is a standard in most hotels.
